Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Political ideologies significantly shape the political landscape of any region, including Northern Nigeria, where a variety of political beliefs, parties, and movements coexist. Jos North LGA in Plateau State provides a unique context for examining the effects of political ideologies on local governance, electoral dynamics, and political participation.
